

Once you have identified your need for first-aiders in your workplace they must have a valid certificate of competence in First aid at Work (FAW) or Emergency First Aid At Work (EFAW). The EFAW course must be at least 6 hours in duration and enables the first-aider to give emergency first aid to someone who is taken ill or is injured in the workplace.
This course is suitable for anyone who has been identified as a first-aider in the workplace. It is also suitable for anyone who wishes to achieve a qualification in first aid as part of their continued professional development.
